VISUAL DESIGNER & ANIMATOR

Giuseppe Laselva is a graphic designer and 2D animator from Puglia, with an educational background between Bari and Urbino. He is currently the Art Director at Push Studio, where he leads numerous graphic design projects in the advertising industry, including the latest editions of the Fiera del Levante. He is also a member of AIAP – Associazione Italiana Design della Comunicazione Visiva.

His creative research evolves within the field of 2D animation, leading him to collaborate with prominent figures in cinema, music, and the arts, such as Studio Azzurro, Alina Marazzi, Apulia Film Commission, Cineteca di Bologna, Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, and MAXXI in Rome. Over the course of his career, he has received prestigious awards, including the Roma Europa Web Factory 2010, the international UNICEF prize Frimousses de Créatures, the Faber Award in 2013 and 2016 for his animations, and in 2026, the selection of two illustrations from the project Choco Senza Frontiere for ANNUAL 26 – Autori di Immagini, a publication celebrating contemporary Italian illustration.

His work has been selected for national and international festivals and exhibitions, including:

Since 2007, he has been the artistic coordinator of PerSe Visioni, a multidisciplinary festival held in Polignano a Mare, which involves both national and international artists. Between 2016 and 2019, he created the digital scenography for Meraviglioso Modugno, a national event dedicated to the renowned singer-songwriter.

In November 2023, as Art Director of Push Studio, he oversaw the advertising visual communication for the exhibition Riccardo Dalisi • Radicalmente at MAXXI in Rome, collaborating with the Riccardo Dalisi Archive and Fabio Novembre’s studio.

In 2024, still as Art Director at Push Studio, he managed the rebranding of the logo and new visual identity for the Fondazione Pino Pascali in Polignano a Mare, a project conceived as a cultural, identity, and inclusive repositioning.

In 2026, he consolidated his creative journey by receiving a Special Mention in the Advertising category at the Autori di Immagini Annual for the project “Choco senza frontiere” (created with Push Studio for Dulciar). The award ceremony took place at DumBO Space during the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, an event where two additional plates from the project were also selected for publication in the Annual volume. The recognition was granted by an esteemed jury chaired by Victoria Semykina and composed of industry experts including Massimo Pitis (Wired) and Enrica Bologni (Gruppo ELi).

Through his aesthetic approach, Laselva explores the relationship between memory, symbolism, and visual storytelling, reinterpreting traditional imagery from a contemporary perspective.
